NY Deli

This is a simple deli with a few tables mostly built for take out ordering. Have been there twice now for a little taste of my NYC home. The bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll with beef bacon is chef's kiss good. Get your cold drink in a bottle or can, sweet treat including small bean pies, pre-made salads from the cold bar, or order up some deli meat to go. Looking forward to trying some of their lunch/dinner options like the halal chopped cheese or the lamb and rice plates. They have burgers, wings, and NY sandwich menu, too.

Welp buckle up about to take you for a ride!!!! So I am born and raised Harlem girl, so anytime I see or hear on a restaurant that has "NY, NYC, or New York" in the title I try to. In efforts to get that nostalgic feeling and vibe from home. Ive lived here for 20 years go home often so with that being said lets continue... I'll start with the good. It was very clean and organized 👌🏽 ok thats it🤷🏾‍♀️ sorry. My first issue was reading the menu which I disagree with many of the ingredients on most of the sandwiches. But im not going to pick apart each and everyone one. I ordered a Baconeggncheese (in NY this is 1 word) 😂 my friend ordered Chopcheese fries. When ready to place our order the young guy behind the register stands there says nothing, so I said ok are you taking our order? He said "yeah waiting on you" well sir open your mouth... Anyway we order our food 1st 🚩 my sandwich came on a long hogie role👎🏽🙅🏾‍♀ nope thats not it round roll me please. Never in my 43 have I had to request a round Kaiser roll for my baconeggncheese. The request would have had to have been for the long roll. My egg was OVERLY COOKED, Bacon was SALTY and burnt, sandwich was DRY. I asked for mayo (yes mayo argue with yo mammy, thats what I put on mine) so anyway. I give it 1 star really no stars but 1 is the lowest. Forced myself to finish half that was it gave. The other half away. Moving on to the Chopcheese fries..((deep breath, sigh and HARD EYE ROLL😒)) The meat was overly seasoned with sazon yet still bland, 🚩 normally there is (Adobo, sazon, a little pepper, not too much more everyones seasoning may vary🤷🏾‍♀️) either way nothing else was in this order. The meat was an orange hue 🚩barely any peppers and onions. The fries taste freezer burnt 🚩and were not cooked enough. ((Throwing flags like Joe and Jada at this point 😂)) I was trying to find my receipt but we spent about 50 and change for 1 sandwich and 1 tray of fries w/the toppings 😵‍💫and 3 drinks (2 bottles of water, and 1 minutemaid) 🚩 I wont be back, can not say that i care enough to reccomend, like so many of these other "NY" places. I will say this try it for yourself. This is MY review. I mean it stays packed but so does a lot of other over-rated places.

This place is truly special! I got the chopped cheese and buffalo club hero, and wings. From appearance to taste to texture, everything was on point! In my opinion, one of the best halal restaurants we have in Atl. I will definitely be a regular at this restaurant and looking forward to trying everything on their menu. Wait time can be lengthy, but if you want quality food it's understandable and reasonable. Thank you so much for opening this gem of a restaurant 🤲🏽

Came after church, it was a little busy but not crowded. Bathroom was clean, restaurant was clean overall. I came in for the chopped cheese but got distracted by “the customer favorites” list. Ordered the buffalo club and it was fresh, hot, and really good. Tried the pineapple seamoss drink which was pretty good. The cold press machine was down so we didn’t try any fresh juice. My only suggestion is training cooks on how to operate a cook line and hand off food to customers. I believe it would help get the orders out more efficiently with an effective process. I would definitely come back

Perfect late night spot! Lots to choose from on the menu. Only thing missing is a good fish sandwich... But they have a couple options for those who don't eat meat ⏸️
