During my work trip, I ate here every morning and it quickly became part of my routine. Service was always fast, which made it perfect before starting the day, and the food was consistently great. The home fries especially stood out, they were absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. Great food, quick service, and a place I looked forward to coming back to every morning!
Food was pretty good. The syrup was the best. Drawn and kept warm so the drizzle on the toast and souffle was delightful. The place is super busy. I had to wait sometime for the syrup because I got my souffle (takes longer than other food to prepare they warned ahead of time) before the syrup came.
Oceanview Diner was a delightful dining experience from start to finish. I ordered the potato pancakes served with sour cream, house-made applesauce, and a sausage, and every bite was flavorful and satisfying. I also had the chance to sample my husband’s pancakes and my daughter’s potato salad, and everything across the table was consistently delicious.
The coffee was fresh, hot, and the perfect complement to the meal. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience with comforting, well-prepared food. I would happily rate Oceanview Diner an 8 out of 10.
I mean . . . talk about amazing traditional diner. The question is always “would you go back to that restaurant again?!” 100% yes. Worth the wait for sure - latte was superb, omelette with avocado, salsa and sour cream - add bacon - crazy good. Fish tacos - gluten free- awesome! Thanks Oceanview Diner - Happy Memorial Day!
I found this pancake mix yesterday in a pantry of a condo in Florida. Was expecting it to be a couple years old and was shocked to see it's 30 yrs old so I had to look up the diner and read about it's history. The side had an order form for merch that you cut out and mail in with payment. And while I'm excited to eat her pancakes, I think I'll wait till I'm in the area for some fresh ones.
