After visiting Duomo di Milano, our group was hungry and decided to stop at Old Wild West for lunch. After spending a week in Italy enjoying traditional Italian cuisine, we were all ready for something a little different, and this restaurant hit the spot.
The best way I can describe Old Wild West is as Italian American food. It's an Italian take on American favorites, and we found it to be quite good. We arrived right when they opened for lunch, so we had no wait to be seated or place our order.
Our food arrived very quickly and was hot and fresh. Our table ordered a variety of items, including burgers, chicken nuggets, chicken, and nachos, and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. I personally ordered the chicken nuggets, and they were honestly better than any chicken nuggets I've had in America.
The service was friendly and efficient, and we found the pricing to be very affordable.
One helpful tip for travelers: if you need to use the restroom, stop at the bar first and ask for a ticket. The restrooms are located one floor up. Without a ticket, there is a €1 charge to use them. The restrooms were very clean and well maintained. Since public restrooms can sometimes be difficult to find in Italy, it's always good to know where one is available.
If you're looking for a break from traditional Italian food and want to try an Italian interpretation of American classics, I would definitely recommend Old Wild West.
