The atmosphere is frequently described as intimate, refined, relaxed, and amazing, set in a 'jewel box' dining room. While the 'Le Burger' and 'Seafood Wellington' receive high acclaim, common themes include the restaurant being very pricey, even for NYC fine dining. Some reviews mention small portions (especially for tasting menus, though a la carte portions are noted as adequate) and occasional long wait times (up to 3 hours for two courses and dessert). The $4 per person dining fee (if not seated at the bar) is also mentioned, with some noting it reminded them of dining in Paris. Despite some initial skepticism, guests reported being treated with utmost courtesy, including table changes with a smile.
