Customers generally praise Slim's Steakhouse for its beautiful, elegant, and old-school ambiance, often described as a step back into the 1980s and 1990s. The service is frequently highlighted as excellent, friendly, and professional. Food quality receives high marks, particularly for steaks (like the New York Strip), raw bar items (oysters, tuna tartare), and French-inspired dishes (escargot, branzino). Some reviewers noted the lack of a dedicated children's menu and that the restaurant can be slightly noisy. One review mentioned the food being 'fine but simple' and prices feeling high, suggesting it might be due to the restaurant being relatively new.
