I absolutely loved my experience at Trolley Cottage Cafe! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, charming, and welcoming. The cottage-style setting feels like a hidden gem in the middle of Salt Lake City, and the outdoor seating area is especially adorable - perfect for a relaxing brunch with friends, family, or a date. The café is known for its French-inspired approach to brunch and lunch, which really comes through in both the menu and presentation.
The food was incredible. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. Portions were surprisingly generous, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and presentation. The prices felt very fair, making it one of those rare places where you leave feeling like you got excellent value for your money.
What really stood out was the overall experience—the beautiful ambiance, delicious food, and cozy atmosphere all came together perfectly. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger over coffee and enjoy the morning. I can definitely see why so many locals love this spot.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a brunch destination in Salt Lake City. I’ll absolutely be back!
This was an awesome place to eat and the food was very very good. We ordered the breakfast burrito, avocado sourdough toast and the pain perdu. The avocado toast was not a simple toast it had many different toppings which tasted so good. The pain perdu was a baguette french toast which was delicious. The cream was clearly fresh and the bread tasted amazing. The servers were kind and I would definitely recommend and come again.
We’ve been wanting to try this place out for a while. We finally got to it and it was SO GOOD. Initially looking at the menu we felt like it was limited but giving a shot was totally worth it. The food was amazing. Service was great. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was while it was cozy and cute, we were sitting so close to the people next to us. I would recommend to try it out. Especially when it’s warm to sit outside. We ordered the turkey sandwhich and chicken & Brie! So yummy!
ABSOLUTELY WORTH A VISIT! Baffled this place does not already have 5 stars. Location and parking were easy to find. Quaint and cozy French country inspired decor, even the bathroom is well decorated! Not only was the bathroom beautifully decorated it was clean! The staff was very attentive and we didn’t wait at any moment, waters were consistently filled without asking which was appreciated. Not only did the food taste amazing presentation was impeccable. I also always appreciate when I get a little design on my latte, so many places advertise and don’t actually do it. Zero complaints! We are visiting SLC and I wish we had this place back home!
Regular drip coffee is good, my husbands latte cake out more like a cappuccino, but was still nice. Very nice atmosphere inside and out.
Food was good enough that I forgot to take pictures until we were half done. The breakfast burrito is saucy so be prepared to eat it with a fork and knife, but it is absolutely delicious. Pancakes were cooked perfectly and the fruit was really nice and fresh.
