Whole Foods is a market I truly love, but for the second time now I’ve had a very disappointing experience at the pizza section. The employees there are extremely rude and arrogant. They look down on customers and respond in a dismissive, half-hearted way.
I was waiting there with my baby. There were three employees chatting among themselves. They clearly saw me, even looked at me, but not once did they greet me or ask what I needed. I’m not there for free food—I’m a paying customer. Yet they completely ignored me as if I didn’t exist. It made me very uncomfortable, and I ended up leaving without even getting a slice of pizza.
This is the second time I’ve experienced this, and it’s honestly very disappointing. The staff in the pizza section seem very unhappy and show zero friendliness. I’m sure there are many people who feel the same way but don’t speak up, or maybe they do but nothing changes.
I’m a new mother, and I was really craving pizza, but I couldn’t even get it. I was there at 8:06, and they told me they had already closed at 8. But doesn’t the store close at 10? This is honestly very frustrating.
I could say much more, but honestly, I’ve given up. I will not be returning to your store or your pizza section again.
Lastly, I want to say this to the employees: if you are unhappy or don’t like your job, please don’t work in customer service. Unfortunately, this kind of attitude is unacceptable in the service industry. It’s very upsetting.
