Classic Southern fried chicken.
Fried chicken is a dish consisting of chicken pieces coated in seasoned flour or batter. These pieces are cooked by pan-frying, deep-frying, pressure-frying, or air-frying. This method creates a crisp coating or crust on the exterior while retaining the meat's juices. Broiler chickens are most commonly used for this dish, which is also widely known as Southern fried chicken.
