A loved dish.
Nigirizushi is a type of sushi characterized by a small mound of vinegared rice topped with an ingredient, most commonly raw seafood. Sushi itself is a traditional Japanese dish where vinegared rice, seasoned with sugar and salt, is combined with various ingredients. The vinegared rice, known as shari or sumeshi, is the defining component of sushi.
