My husband & I spent our last evening in Tokyo at Sushi Miura, & it ended up being one of the most memorable dining experiences of our trip!
We arrived under unexpected circumstances after a stressful hotel change & difficulty finding luggage storage. We had to bring all of our luggages with us & felt like a huge inconvenience, especially knowing how small & intimate the restaurant is. We called ahead, and they kindly offered to do their best to fit everything into their storage space.
From the moment we arrived, we were met with nothing but warmth & kindness. The staff helped us bring everything inside & never once made us feel guilty or unwelcome despite the extra trouble.
The omakase itself was exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented, thoughtfully explained, & absolutely delicious. We loved hearing about where some of the seafood was sourced from and watching the chefs prepare each course with such care & attention to detail. You can truly see the pride they take in their craft, & it made every bite even more enjoyable.
At the end of the evening, we had the opportunity to chat with the chefs & ask for food recommendations around Japan. They were incredibly friendly. When it was time to leave, they helped us carry all our luggages outside & even assisted us in loading it into our van. They stayed & waited until we had safely driven away.
The level of hospitality we experienced went far beyond anything we expected. If you’re looking for a high quality omakase experience with outstanding food & genuinely exceptional service, Sushi Miura is a must visit. We enjoyed it so much that we would gladly return on our next trip to Japan!

What a wonderful experience. Chef moves so elegantly it was overall just a very enjoyable experience watching him showcase his knife skills. My favourite dish was the lunch special - the monk fish liver roll , it’s so special and just melt in your mouth. We’d love to go back and try dinner!
