Wat Sang Sushi & More

The food was very good (thr ramen, salmon in tampura) to OK (maki) and usually in good portion size. The service was a bit slow, with a couple of misses, but very friendly.music was nice and not too loud. The place was full, and the table arrangement is too tight - but that's common in restaurants in Tel Aviv where realestate prices are high and spaces are often limited. All in all - we had a good time, and I recommend the place.

We had a 12:00 reservation for a Friday noon. My 85+ years old parents arrived a few minutes early. Initially not even offered a chair to wait until the official 12:00 opening hour. We got a table and ordered food. We were told dishes come out at random order because there are two kitchens. Fine. Until food just didn't arrive. 45 minutes after ordering it. The waiters apologized but the only thing they could offer us was for us to order (!) something that would arrive in the meantime. They never offered any kind of compensation. No thanks. That's not the kind of service a high priced TLV Japanese restaurant should operate. They just lost a few more good customers. The food was fine, but we left with a bitter taste nevertheless.

My wife and I visited for lunch on a weekday. Reservation is really recommended as the place was packed, the table is provided for an hour and a half, which is more than enough for lunch. The Duck Ramen was amazing, and it's the best Ramen we've had in Tel Aviv! The sushi\nigiri were excellent with a wide variety of fresh and tasty fish. I really liked the Maguro Toro. There is also an interesting selection of Japanese tea infusions. This is an excellent sushi restaurant and we will surely visit again in the future.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We came on Friday night, a group of five friends (including one vegan), to a table booked for 22:00 in the inner area of the restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and pleasant. The service was absolutely phenomenal. Sabina took care of us throughout the evening with spot-on recommendations, great intuition for each person at the table (including thoughtful attention to the vegan), and perfect timing from dish to dish. Professional, attentive, and truly exceptional service. WOW. The menu is very diverse, with fresh fish and nothing banal or generic. Even the wasabi was the real thing — grated from actual wasabi root, not the bright green powder everyone else uses. Every dish was executed at a very high and precise level: bold flavors in the ramen, perfectly prepared tataki on a bed of onions, and sushi that was incredibly delicious. We ordered so many dishes that I can’t even remember them all, but everything was genuinely fantastic. A high-quality, authentic Japanese dining experience. We were pampered and genuinely seen. We didn’t feel like “just paying customers” but like guests receiving a full, thoughtful experience — which is the most important thing for me. Even the restrooms were spotless, with soap, hand cream, and towels. They really thought of everything. I’m definitely coming back. If there’s a place that deserves praise — this is it. My friend and I came to dinner recently and had a phenomenal experience — the service from Liron was stellar and Zohar the manager also fantastic. The highlight was the matcha ramen, the best ramen we have ever had. Everything was delicious. We can’t wait to return soon!
