Every time I walked past this place, I had to turn back and look at the gelato display. The whole shop feels luxurious, almost European royal-style, with bright lighting and spotless glass counters. They have two separate displays: one for classic flavours and another for more creative combinations.
After sampling four or five flavours, I ended up choosing Crème Brûlée Pistachio Crumble and Dark Chocolate. The gelato was incredibly smooth and not overly sweet. The dark chocolate, in particular, might be the best I’ve had around the CBD so far.
It’s definitely pricier than average, but the quality makes it worth it. I’ll absolutely be back to work through the rest of the flavours.
Anita Gelato is an absolute must-visit! The store is beautifully styled with such a gorgeous aesthetic, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a sweet treat. The service was warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived.
Everything we tried was delicious—the gelato was rich, creamy, and full of flavour, the frozen yoghurt was smooth and refreshing, and the dessert cups were absolutely luscious and beautifully presented. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients.
We’ll definitely be back to try even more flavours. Highly recommend!

Such a hidden gem! Conveniently located just behind Bourke Street, this place has an incredible selection of gelato flavours—there are so many to choose from. My absolute favourite was the Raspberry Chocolate Chunks… it was delicious!
A special shout-out to Priyanka, who served us with such a warm and friendly smile. She handled our massive order so patiently and made the whole experience even better.
I also loved the level of personalisation, from the yoghurt bar to the dessert cups and gelato. It’s such a fun experience where you can create exactly what you’re craving. We’ll definitely be back!
We tried the Dubai Chocolate, Snowberry and Pretzel Cups and honestly, each one had its own highlight. The Snowberry was my favourite with fresh strawberries and chocolate topped with whipped cream everything just blended so well. Loved that they use fresh berries, not frozen ones that turn hard to eat and soggy later.
The Pretzel Cup was such a good mix of crunchy, salty pretzels with sweet soft serve. And the Dubai Chocolate with kunafa and chocolate was rich and indulgent, so good together.
Of course we couldn’t leave without getting the kids their usual chocolate mint cone loaded with toppings.
We also took home a tub with cookies and cream, chocolate mint and dark chocolate and even mixed the dark chocolate with the Dubai chocolate later… so good.
The ambience and quality of each of their products even their tubs are so good. There is plenty of seating as well.
Definitely try their new cups they are worth it .🤍
