Compartir was an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant staff were very detail oriented and walked us through the entire menu. Lots of great dishes but we personally felt like we should have skipped the paella and went for more small dishes since everything they had in that section was so creative and delicious.
We opted for the suprise menu. At around 100 EUR per person without drinks it wasn't cheap, but we felt it was a fair price for what amounted to at least fourteen different dishes. The flavour combinations weren't always as interesting as they could have been, but the presentation can't be faulted. There were a few dishes that we really liked, such as the signature caviar dish. I've had better meals in Michelin-starred restaurants at that price point, but I was still happy that we went as it was nice to try such a diverse menu.
Food was pretty amazing for the price. The oyster and pork were my favorite two dishes. However, the young waitress at our table kept reminding us to order every 5 minutes even after we had clearly explained we need more time. And after we finally surrendered saying we need her assistant with the menu, the ordering process went rather unpleasant and completely ruined the vibe. Other waiters were professional and attentive though.
Compartir. have been on my to-do list for quite some time. Luckily, it was no problem getting a lunch table the very same day.
The restaurant feels bright, airy, and elegant, with impeccable service from start to finish. The lunch itself was equally impressive, offering fantastic flavors and beautifully presented dishes.
I will definitely come back — and next time, it will be for dinner.
Great dining experience with very good service from start to finish.
The highlights were definitely the tuna cannelloni and the carpaccio — both outstanding and full of flavour. The sardines were also very tasty and perfectly done, the brioche was ok, was not my favourite.
Special mention to the lamb: incredibly tasty, but the portion is quite large.
Good to know that you can ask for half portions for the starters, which is a great option if you want to try more dishes.
