We were walking through the neighbourhood trying to find a place for a lovely date night dinner. We stopped to look at the menu and the owner Claudio immediately came up to us and gave us an in depth explanation about the food and the philosophy of the restaurant. His passion and warmness made us want to try the experience. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air. The wait staff were knowledgeable but not over baring, recommending a beautiful bottle of wine. We tried a mix of traditional dishes and the 500g sirloin and it all was lovely.
The food and service was so good we went back the next night and had lovely service from Pol. Pol was lovely and kind. The ethos of the restaurant and conscious creation of the meals was very appealing to us, we loved the fact that we were eating meals with local fresh produce.
I believe the pricing is fair when you consider the careful sourcing of high quality ingredients. Yes you could find a cheaper burger elsewhere, but with the same high quality of meat, fresh produce and traditional service? - I don’t think so.

We stopped by El Filete Ruso last minute for a late dinner, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Barcelona. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations.
The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Every dish exceeded expectations, and the dessert was the perfect finish to an already exceptional meal.

I can’t even begin to explain how much I loved this place. We arrived last minute on Barcelona’s busiest day of the year and they accommodated a group of 8 right away. The food was AMAZING. We ordered dishes to share and a main dish each. You could taste the quality right away. The food truly tasted fresh, like those places that hand pick their produce every morning. Our server was so polite, lively and funny! Even when the place was fully packed. The owner came multiple times to tell us the stories behind the food we were eating. A culinary experience of its own, he truly cares of what you have on your plate. I ordered the “Solomillo” cooked medium rare and it was so tasty and perfectly cooked. Definitely a place to order meat cuts, which BTW are fully organic! We ordered red wine that I wish I had taken a photo of cus it was truly amazing with the meats. I’m not one to leave reviews like this but man what an experience.
We stopped here on a whim, quickly looked at the menu, and wow we’re glad we did! The chicken croquettes had amazing flavor and the burgers were so fresh and the fries were absolutely amazing! Would def recommend this place!
