I made a day trip from Girona because I was very interested and curious about the restaurant and legend behind it. It was well worth the trip although driving over the mountains from Roses was somewhat harrowing. It is a very beautiful restaurant and the extra buildings that form the museum are incredible. The staff is very friendly and informative. The culinary aspect of it all was beyond me but I think would be fascinating for a student chef. I would not go here over the Dali museum or a day in Girona but I've done all that so this was a nice addition. Highly recommend!
What a wonderful afternoon we spent at the elBulli 1846 exhibition! I never had the chance to experience the original restaurant in its heyday, when culinary history was being made, but I'm thrilled to have visited this iconic and beautiful space. The immersive experience was outstanding, showcasing the sheer genius of Ferran Adrià his meticulous attention to detail and boundless creativity left me truly inspired. I loved how peaceful it felt with fewer crowds, making it an intimate, 5-star encounter. An amazing concept overall!
This was such an interesting museum. Fascinating to see what goes behind the scenes of a three Michelin star restaurant. The museum is conceptualised in an interesting way, the views are amazing.
One of the best museums I have ever visited. Trully an eye-opening experience.
It much more than the story of one of the best restaurants in history, it’s about wanting to understand the art of cooking in it most basic origins, it’s about questioning how and why we do what we, as humans, do.
Overall, it’s about searching the limits, innovating, designing, understanding, sharing knowledge and of course, cooking.😉
Really recommend visiting the museum, reflecting on what they are trying to share with the public and get to know elBullifoundation.
An amazing destination to go to if you are a fan of nouvelle cuisine. I was so lucky to visit El Bulli with my teacher who was a former pastry chef of El Bulli from 1986-1988.
