The dinner felt more theatrical and intimate than I had expected. I understand that there is a strong concept behind the restaurant, but I do think this style of experience would benefit from being made clearer in advance, as it may not suit every diner. I arrived expecting a good meal in a more conventional sense, and instead found myself in a format that felt far more immersive and directed than I had anticipated.
The overall atmosphere also did not fully resonate with me. At times, it felt as though guests were being asked to engage with the restaurant on very specific terms, rather than being allowed to settle into the experience naturally and at their own pace.
For me, the concept ultimately overshadowed the food. The evening seemed more centered on theater, interaction, and staging than on the cooking itself. Unfortunately, I did not feel that the food was strong enough to balance that emphasis. Rather than the concept enhancing the meal, it sometimes felt as though the meal was there mainly to support the concept.
Overall, I found the experience highly stylized and very deliberate, but not especially satisfying from a culinary perspective. I can understand why some diners may enjoy this format, but for me it was not the right fit.
