Hands down the best Hibatchi in the area. Great quality. As a mom of littles I can attest that I have tried them all! Pro tip- get a side of golden sauce which is like an egg yolk sauce. It is amazing on the rice and steak! Family owned and operated which is a rare find these days.
I typically enjoy hibachi and have had great experiences at other locations, but this restaurant was a disappointment. The atmosphere was dim and uninviting, and I felt uncomfortable with staff members standing outside the restaurant, often staring at the guests and occasionally laughing, which gave the impression they were mocking us. The food quality was noticeably subpar, and the portion sizes were significantly smaller than what I’ve come to expect from a hibachi meal. While the wait staff and the chef were friendly and attentive, the overall experience felt overpriced for the low-quality food and small portions. I won’t be returning to this location.
I waited to write this review because I did not want to post it in the heat of the moment. My husband and I have been eating at Fuji for well over 15 years. We were met with excellent service from those who greeted us to the chefs and wait staff. They treated my youngest who has a nut allergy extremely well. We visited yesterday and we were so disappointed. From the moment we walked in, it went from bad to worse. We were greeted rudely. We had to sit and wait to be seated which no big deal. Expected on a Saturday. When we were seated we were waited on promptly. Soup was excellent. Salad was great. Our chef came out to prepare our orders. No personality. Looked like he was completely bothered by cooking for us. Mind you, it was just us at the table. The rice was overcooked and tasted gross. No flavor. My husband ordered steak and I ordered garlic shrimp and chicken. He cut the portions of chicken so small and overcooked them. They were dry and gross. The shrimp was fine. The veggies were ok. My husband finished his steak but said it was not the best. Then we had sherbert. I never go home with left overs. I have a whole container full including rice. For $160 with tip, I expected WAYYYY better than this! Having dined here well over 30 times in 15 years, I know they have and can do better. It stinks we will not be back for seconds. If they want to stay alive, they have to up their game. Many places around them who serve more food for less money. Along with that, there is MUCH better service! Better attitudes and atmospheres also.
Love this place! Every time we come here we have a great experience. Since it is more expensive than your typical hibachi franchise, we don't visit as much as we'd like, but every time is worth it. Quality of food can be seen in every dish and of course tasted. Staff is attentive and friendly.
Great quality meat and seafood. Sushi is made with quality ingredients, beautiful, fresh fish. Ask for a side of Mark's sauce for the sushi 🍣 Foods always cooked to perfection. Great adult drinks also. Owners and employees are top notch. Hibachi garlic shrimp is to die for.
