Came on a Monday night and got seated right away. Best soup dumplings in Manhattan Chinatown! They have many other items on the menu that are delicious as well. However, you will feel rushed to eat when it gets busy.
It’s a tradition to eat at Chinatown during the lunar new year celebrations and this place unfailingly always makes every visit memorable. Awesome Chinese food and the best people and service. Can’t really go wrong with anything. This time we got schezwan fish and crispy chicken and they were amazing.

Food was fresh and delicious. XLB were larger than I am used to. They don’t fit on the spoons so be careful you don’t lose your precious broth.
Service was attentive
BUT BEWARE! At time of payment (they only take cash) they sneakily added a 18% service charge (tip) to the bill and hope I didn’t notice.
Strike one.
Then I placed a $100 down for the $55 bill that included tip and the server asked me if I needed any change.
Strike two.
Then I got my change back and the receipt was mysteriously missing. They were hoping I didn’t know I paid the tip and would leave some extra cash tip behind.
Strike three.
Of course I asked for my receipt back.
I also noticed the table beside mine leave a hefty cash tip over $10 on their table before they walked out. (Also mysteriously missing their receipt on return of their change).
Food is great and they will refill your water glass even if it doesn’t need refilling literally every 2 minutes- BUT they have no integrity when it comes to payment and tips!! So be careful!

Stopped here for the soup dumplings, and they did not disappoint! They were incredibly delicious and full of flavor. The service was quick and friendly. This place is very popular, so there was a bit of a wait—but it was definitely worth it. They only take cash, but no worries, there are ATMs on site. That being said, you absolutely have to stop here for the soup dumplings! The General Tso’s chicken is also fantastic—just a little heat with a perfectly sweet, crunchy bite. I would definitely come back!

The pork soup dumplings were some of the best ones I have ever had
Would absolutely recommend the beef scallion and the chicken sesame they were incredible!!!!
