We went to Kubo Saturday night for their grand opening and it was an awesome experience. Brooklyn really needs a Filipino spot like this. Food were really good. Really love the kwek kwek and bangus sisig. Would order the grilled liempo next time we go there. Vibe was on point. They have Karaoke after 10pm which we were not expecting. Cocktails are all amazing. We had the wengweng tower and it was strong and gooooood. Highly recommend you coming to this new spot. Would give them 6 stars if we can.
creative cocktails! OMG, i tried the “kubo” cocktail and ive never tasted something like that.Jen one of the owners told me that they make the coconut puree homemade. Lumpia is my favorite in terms of food, they brought the vibes to brooklyn. Their bathroom is so unique too! you should check out this new filipino spot!
Sooo visited this newly opened establishment called Kubo here in Brooklyn and i gotta say i had an amazing experience! The atmosphere perfectly blends a cozy filipino vibe with a modern cocktail bar feel, making it a great place to relax and hangout with friends, or enjoy a night out. The food selection is excellent! Every dish complements the drinks really well and shows a lot of thought in both flavor and presentation.
What really stood out to me though, was the cocktail called Noli Mi. It's easily one of the most memorable cocktails ive had, it reminds me of classic negroni but less bitter and more smoother and beautifully well balanced. Kubo is absolutely worth visiting! Service was great, food was great, atmosphere is amazing! I'll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu.
Awesome vibe. Great food. Amazing cocktails. You should definitely check Kubo out. Perfect spot to hangout with friends, do karaoke, and get wasted. Order the Pokpok cocktail. Met the owners and they were very welcoming. Shout out to ian, jen and thara. Say hi to them when you drop by at Kubo.
New favorite spot out in Brooklyn. Love the Filipino representation. Staff was great, welcoming, and fun! Drinks and food were delicious. Can’t wait to come back!
