Recommended! The prices are normal. Khachapuri is super. The service is good. The dumplings in the pot are weaker, for my taste.

The hype as the best khachapuri in Batumi is probably right. As a great pizza, it is all about the crust. Charred crispy outer crust with soft bready interior with air bubbles, and leopard charred bottom crust. I order with less dough for the smaller appetites. Get the special with the special smoked cheese. A little more expensive, but so much better.

I used to come here throughout my entire childhood and it was absolutely delicious, but we came back now and the khachapuri contained fake cheese, made from powdered milk. (You can tell because the cheese doesn’t stretch and turns crumbly, like cottage cheese, when heated.) I’m very disappointed, and of course I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you want to taste real Adjarian khachapuri.

So everyone online says this is the best Khachapuri in Batumi, it was good but I’m not sure it’s the best. But it is a really cool place with how you go slightly underground to dine here, and that is a nice feature. I wanted to dine here again to try other foods but never had a chance.

The menus are only in Russian. I know and like pelemi so I have no issues ordering. The wait staff will try to help with their limited knowledge of English.
