This is my first multi course meal, so I may be limited in my comparison, but this food was delightful. Every item brought out of the kitchen was delicious, and the chef and staff alike would come to our table to talk. Everyone was friendly, and I left feeling super content and satisfied by the end of the night. This place is only open a few days a month with a different menu each month. So even if you think this looks delicious, well that’s too bad because you already missed it 😂.
My only quip is that it was super loud from the mixture of the music and conversation, but vibes were still nice.
Dining at Marc179 last night was the kind of experience that reminds you why chef‑driven restaurants matter. The setting itself is intimate—low lighting, warm wood, and a layout that makes the room feel personal rather than crowded. But what truly sets the evening apart is having Chef Marc Murphy right there in the room, moving between the kitchen and guests with the kind of presence that makes the meal feel curated, intentional, and deeply human.

The menu was a perfect balance of refined technique and bold, comforting flavors.
Every plate felt intentional, and the pacing of the meal allowed each dish to shine without ever feeling rushed.
What truly elevates Marc179 is the proximity to Chef Marc Murphy himself. Watching him interact with guests, check on dishes, and bring his signature warmth to the room adds a layer of authenticity you rarely get in fine dining. It feels less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into a chef’s personal dining room.
Marc179’s ambiance, service, culinary execution, and the rare intimacy of having a world‑class chef present and engaged. It’s the kind of place where the food is memorable, but the experience is unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a dinner that feels personal, elevated, and genuinely special, Marc179 is absolutely worth the reservation.
From the moment I walked in, the service was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can tell the team truly cares about quality. Highly recommend this monthly restaurant pop up if you're looking for great food and exceptional service.
Simply one of the best dining experiences you could ask for! The food and drinks are delicious and perfectly portioned (we loved that there are vegetarian options and accommodations), the staff are sharp, attentive and friendly, and the overall warm, positive vibes make you not want to leave. Chef Murphy was also wonderful to share a conversation with!
Absolutely delicious food and a very fun evening. We also really liked the wine list as they offered lots of half bottles so you can try a bunch of different one
