A hidden Gem, Food menu, Drinks, happy hour! Great location, amazing staff, gorgeous ambiance. Every visit is better than the last. I tried the Margharita Pizza: thin crust, baked to perfection. The garlic puffs/knots were amazing. My company loved the shrimps and steak. The drinks were delicious and rich with flavors. I had the margarita and the amaretto sour, a very unique twist on a classic. Can't wait to go back.
What a lovely evening. Or server was very patient, sweet and so helpful with all of our questions. The menu is pricy but the food is delicious. We had the roast pork (serves 2) which was very tasty and tender. It had quite a bit of fat on it but was so good. The creamy potatoes were perfectly roasted and the sauce delicious. The sauce was on the saltier side but complemented the pork and potatoes so well. The pizza was perfectly thin crust and a favorite of the night. We also enjoyed some wonderful cocktails. Would love to go back another time for pizza and cocktails.
Whenever I come to NY, I make an effort to come to Marta. It’s located inside a hotel and would be difficult to locate if not for the fun sidewalk signs.
The pizza is fantastic- wood fired, thin crust, good quality cheeses, aromatic basil, and sweet mozzarella cheese.
There’s table service and there’s bar seating and there’s pizza counter seating- my fave- where you sit by the two brick ovens.
The service is always amazing and friendly and fast. Shoutout to Julian- my server this time- he was so sweet, and even topped off my water and got a new napkin for me for dessert.
I love the butcher pizza and the margarita. I’ve had a bit of the truffle pizza but it’s too rich for my taste (but if you’re into truffle, it’s worth the splurge… I’d recommend splitting it among friends for a slice per person.
Ambiance is warm and cozy- despite being two levels and in a large restaurant. If you want to feel like you’ve escaped NY for a meal, you’ve gotta stop here!
Specializing in very thin crust pizza, and situated in a historic hotel, this restaurant has nice decor and high ceilings. The appetizers were delicious, fresh ingredients. The pizza had such thin crust but still had a crunch texture, not dry. The sausage on the pizza was very tasty and flavorful. A wonderful meal! Service was good too!
We were craving some good pizza and wine, so we decided to check out Marta, which was conveniently located down the street from our hotel. We were thrilled with our decision as we were not disappointed! The restaurant boasted an extensive wine list with numerous options to choose from, and the pizza was simply delicious. The open kitchen allowed us to watch the pizza being made, which added to the overall experience.
We visited for lunch and were pleased to find plenty of seating available. We ordered the Margherita pizza, which we always enjoy, and it did not disappoint. In addition, we ordered The Butcher, which was both tasty and filling, making it the perfect combination for our appetite.
Overall, we highly recommend Marta for anyone in search of delicious pizza and an excellent wine selection.
