Customers praise Métis for its comfortable and spacious ambiance, making it ideal for gatherings, family meals, or even working. The art gallery aspect is highly appreciated, with guests enjoying the stunning artworks. While the hospitality and staff are consistently noted as super friendly and attentive, food reviews are mixed; some find the dishes delicious with good portions, while others mention that the food is 'not the best' or that specific dishes (like mi goreng) can be salty. Prices are perceived to have increased, moving towards a tourist price range, though some still find them reasonable for the quality and experience.
The gallery features works by artists such as Zulham Damanik. There is also a separate paintings-only gallery nearby. The venue is described as a place to feel peaceful and relieve stress.
The restaurant is suitable for visiting throughout the day, from working during the day to dinner and late-night drinks, as it offers a full bar and is open until midnight. The artworks are particularly stunning in the evening.
