My second time coming here and was not disappointed. The burgers here are great! Service was terrific and it just has a comfortable atmosphere. A bit spendy ($19 without a side) but it’s worth it every once in a while. I will say though the burger with bacon was good but the bacon was so thick it was a bit chewy. There was almost more bacon than beef which I wouldn’t complain normally but I think the patty was just too thin for that much bacon. The frickles were literally amazing and I would go back just for those. A can of Diet Coke is $5 lol.
Really fun bar with great food! I stopped by solo to grab food and a drink on a Friday during a work trip. The bar is loud and busy as expected on a Friday night but I had a great meal. The bartender was also knowledgeable about what was and wasn’t gluten free on the menu (huge plus!).
Went to Smashfest at Insight Brewery on April 25th and waited about 45 minutes in line at the Parlour food truck. After another 30 minutes for my order, I received two completely plain burgers—no cheese, no sauce, nothing. Just a dry patty between two buns. I was still charged full price, even though the core ingredients were clearly gone. If you run out, tell your customers instead of serving an incomplete product at full cost. Really disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning.
We love Parlour! The basement setting has a great vibe, the staff is friendly and helpful and they have one of, if not the best burgers in the city. If you’re anywhere near this area, do yourself a favor and stop in to Parlour.
I have heard of how amazing the burgers are here but never made the trip from the burbs. My daughter is in the hospital and I had a door dash gift card and saw you were listed. I ordered right away. So glad I did. The BEST burger I have ever had. Will definitely make the trip to the restaurant soon.
