It was my first visit last night. Loved the 70's/80's decor, real retro style. I was blown away by the food and service. Lovely jazz band playing while we were eating. Music changed tempo as the night wore on so people could hit the dance floor and party the night away. This is a place worth visiting. I haven't come across a venue like this that has all that is needed for a night out and more.
Most at our table had the lamb shank on a bed of crunchy vegetables with mash potatoes and a hearty red wine ju. Those who had the salmon teriyaki raved about their choice of food. The dessert was absolutely divine. I had the baked cheesecake. Those who chose the chocolate fondant with a dollop of mint ice cream had envious looks from others.
Pigalle is definitely a place to revisit on more than one occasion.
Live music starts around 8pm make reservations closer to the time. Absolutely wonderful service, food is immaculate & fresh. Bathrooms are so clean, smelling fresh & you can still hear the music while in there which is super cool. They also celebrate you if you have birthday, anniversary, graduation celebration I find that extremely special. I had a great time. Definitely will be back again with my family for celebrations soon. Dance floor was also open. They are also Halaal restaurant.
To be honest it feels like you’re eating at a nightclub or a golf club house, I don’t like the interior decor at all, and it is extremely hot, definitely needs ventilation.
ALL the food was overly salty, I had to return my livers it was that bad, and I don’t usually complain, but I was sitting grabbing my water. They were extremely well cooked and seasoned however when they came back and the livers tasted flame grilled.
The dessert was definitely yum, I had the chocolate fondant.
Service sucked but still a 12% tip was added to our bill without consent. One guests food came after everyone else was finished eating, then it was tasteless on top of that. Needless to say everyone was sharing their food feeling really bad. Not once was their a hostess at our table. At these prices we expected way better service.
Not necessarily a bad experience but the bathroom mirror was dirty. Waiters kept messing up orders, some seemed reluctant to do their job, they were arguing in a foreign language at some point. Food took too long to get to us.
The live music was too loud, we couldn’t have a decent conversation without raising our voices.
Two stars because I enjoyed my company, not the venue. Food was okay.
