Key Information
Upscale Asian fusion restaurant by international Chef Shahaf Shabtai, located on the 14th floor of the HaArba'a Tower with panoramic city views. The culinary concept blends influences from Hong Kong and Rome, featuring innovative pastries, raw fish, and seafood.
Customers highly praise the unique and delicious pastries, especially the filled croissants, often describing them as 'phenomenal' and 'out of this planet'. The ambiance, aesthetic design, and welcoming staff are also appreciated. However, some find certain pastries too sweet, and the ice cream receives negative feedback. Prices for pastries are considered high.
Additional Details
The restaurant originated as a pop-up bakery during the Corona pandemic, specializing in filled croissants. It is situated on the 14th floor of the HaArba'a Tower (also referred to as Four Towers or Hagag Towers) in Tel Aviv.
Early in the day for pastries, as they are freshly made and reportedly sell out quickly.
4.0
Probably the best pastries in Israel.
The round pistachios croissant is honestly phenomenal.
The cornflakes croissant is amazing (though doesn’t taste like cornflakes nor the cornflakes milk).
The Malabi croissant was too sweet and didn’t taste like malabi. More like the filling of a doughnut on channukah.
The ice creams are bad (and that’s why the 4 stars).
Stick to the pastries. They’re amazing!
amazing and unique bakery! A hidden jem inside the northern Ha’arbaa tower. Not only is the bakery itself designed brilliantly and aesthetically, their filled croissants are out of this planet and so worth the price. We got to taste the dolce, cheesecake and cereal milk croissants and they were bomb. I especially enjoyed the cheesecake filled one, it’s perfect for the hot weather and not too sweet either. Make sure to come early and grab them fresh and while you still can because i heard they run out fast!
A must visit when in Tel Aviv in my opinion!
Amazing popup bakery by POP&POPE, which was opened during Corona and is located within the lobby of the Hagag Towers. The bakery specializes in filled croissants as well as special cakes. I've tried a few and all were super delicious 😋 Not sure whether this popup is going to stay now that the restaurant is open, but definitely crossing fingers, as the croissants are something special...
This place is absolutely magical! 🤩 Pop & Pope have - without a doubt - the best croissants 🥐 you'll ever eat! Their chocolate-dipped 🍫 cream-filled croissants are not only extremely delicious but also look like works of art. The place is beautifully decorated and the staff is super welcoming and nice. I wish they had and in-door seating option and not just takeout since I would want to spend hours at Pop & Pope!
We tried two croissants and a cheese pastry.
The cheese pastry was awesome and we ate it even before we could take its photo.
A real upgrade to the local burekas.
The dolce de leche croissant was very yummy but super sweet and the strawberry croissant was way to sweet to the point it wasn’t tasty, and we couldn’t eat more than one bite.
Also - take into account the the prices are high (~30 now per unit)
We will try more however once we’ll get the chance .
