This is a traditional Japanese restaurant located in the basement of the Shibuya Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel.
The welcome by the "Sukiya" style waitresses was exceptional, with impeccable manners and speech.
I was deeply impressed by the service, including the subtle thoughtfulness.
The large plaza is 30 tatami mats (truly a large plaza), and the furnishings, including the hanging scroll in the alcove, were magnificent.
They only accept one group per day, for both lunch and dinner.
The shoji screens are only opened when there is no stage, but unfortunately, there was a stage that day, which made it feel a bit claustrophobic. It would be a good idea to check this before making a reservation.
The coffee-flavored yokan (sweet bean jelly) for dessert was delicious.
