שווארמה הכרמל

Had a mix of chicken and lamb, the serving was generous and everything was tasty, well seasoned and fresh. The chips weren’t exactly to my liking but it could have been a matter of taste or just a so-so batch. Plus they weren’t really necessary, the pita was overflowing and very satisfying.

Absolutely awful. Ordered Wolt, they barely put any meat in my laffa, there was more laffa than meat! The salads they gave me on the side reaked of decay and so I threw them immediately in the trash. Never ordering from them again

I loved the food and the server at this restaurant. It’s a hole in the wall location with a lot of character. Definitely would come back again if I was in the area. It was the best shawarma I had in the 2 weeks I was in Israel.

Not sure where these “best shawarma ever” reviews are coming from but that surely was not my experience. I live right near by and finally went to try it after staying away because of its tired look. I came hungry and unfortunately left hungry as I could not finish the sandwich. Literally, the pita fell apart before I could get halfway through and I’m glad because I was not enjoying it at all. I’m hoping this was a one-off experience but I guarantee there is much better shawarma very close by in the Shuk.
