50 Kalò was absolutely worth the hype! 🍕🇮🇹
The pizza was fresh, light, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The dough was perfectly soft, airy, and cooked to perfection.
Without a doubt, one of the best pizzas I had in Naples. The service was great, the atmosphere was lively, and the whole experience was unforgettable.
A must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Neapolitan pizza! ❤️🍕✨
First time here at one of the most reputable and highly rated pizzerias in Napoli.
This place specialises in authentic Neapolitan-style pizza in "wagon wheel" dimensions, similar to Da Michele. Above 70% hydration, 240-260g dough balls.
What we tried:
🍕 Ciro's take on Provola E Pepe — San Marzano DOP, buffala provola from Sori, fiore sardo DOP, black Tellicherry pepper
🍕 Fresh datterini tomato sauce, fior di latte, pecorino, parmigiano reggiano, basil (new on menu)
Pizza 2 was the surprising winner for me. Great mix of savoury, tangy cheesiness!
Service was quick and welcoming despite the crowd and long queue outside.

Pizzeria 50 Kalò is an absolute must-visit for pizza lovers. The pizza here is simply outstanding—perfectly balanced, with a light, airy crust and high-quality ingredients that truly shine in every bite.
Despite how popular the place is, the service is impressively fast and efficient, so you’re never left waiting too long, even during busy times. The staff keeps things moving smoothly without sacrificing quality.
If you choose to sit outside, be aware that the terrace can be quite lively and a bit noisy. That said, it also adds to the vibrant, authentic atmosphere of Naples.
All in all, this is a top-tier pizza experience that absolutely lives up to its reputation

Absolutely the best pizza we had in Naples! We loved it so much that we returned three times during our four-day stay. Delicious food, great quality, and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

We visited 50 Kalò, a pizzeria recommended by the Michelin Guide, 3 times, and were curious to try several of their pizzas.
We tried 4 in total, on different days. The Margherita was excellent - beautifully balanced and a very satisfying example of a Neapolitan classic. The Alleanza del Sud was also pleasant and well made.
The other two pizzas were less convincing for us. The 50Kalò vegetarian and the Gialla Provola e Pepe both felt somewhat muted in flavor. The vegetarian pizza in particular had plenty of vegetables but almost no cheese or sauce, and the overall impression was closer to dough topped with lightly cooked vegetables than a fully expressive pizza.
So our experience was a bit mixed - two pizzas we enjoyed, and two that didn’t quite reach the same level.
The service was friendly and efficient, which we appreciated. One small detail, however, could perhaps be improved. When one night we ordered a pizza to take away later in the evening, we were asked to wait outside in the street rather than being offered a place to sit while it was prepared. After a long day, even a couple of chairs for takeaway guests would make the wait more comfortable.
Overall, an interesting stop at a well-known pizzeria, though our experience didn’t entirely match the expectations created by its reputation.
