This is one of the most famous restaurants in entire Phi Phi and we couldn’t get a seat on our first visit. Fortunately the next day there was no queue and we got a seat. Service was little slow and food was Okayish . I kinda felt that this restaurant is a little over hyped. I have had better food at better prices in Phi Phi Island.
Drinks were fine, refreshing. Ordered Iced Lemon Tea and Iced Coffee.
Tried their Crispy Fried Prawns for starters which were nice. 4/5
The Chicken Khao Soi was good but we had a better one a day before . 3/5
The Fried Mama Noodle with Chicken was good too 3/5
Overall a good experience. But definitely not queuing up for this.
Best Thai food we’ve had since arriving two weeks ago!
Everything was incredibly fresh, full of flavour, with many options to suit every taste. Around 7pm a queue usually forms, but don’t be worried — it moves pretty fast and is absolutely worth the wait. The staff are super friendly, always smiling, and we received the best service. We loved it so much that we went there twice, and honestly I wish there was a Garlic 1992 in every location — it’s just that good! Highly recommended!
Came here for the khao soi as a friend said she had been dreaming about it since her trip to Thailand and it did not disappoint! I came solo at 2pm so there was no wait. I wish I came with more people to be able to try more dishes. I had the chicken khao soi which was so good; only complaint is I wish there were more noodles. I also ordered the prawns in sauce (can't remember the name but it had a tamarind flavour) which came with rice. The sauce was DELICIOUS. Washed this all down with a very refreshing thai milk tea. Had to rush as I was on a boat tour stop. Can't wait to come back for the khao soi and to try some more dishes!
Specialising in authentic Thai food, the meals are fresh and packed with flavour. The service was fantastic, and the entire team was welcoming and friendly.
There was a significant queue due to the restaurant’s popularity, but trust me when I say the wait is worth it. My personal favourite was the deep-fried prawns — juicy prawns coated in crispy batter, served with a sweet chilli dipping sauce. These were the best prawns I’ve ever had, and I think about them every day.
All of the meals looked incredible, particularly the seafood. Highly recommend.
I got the fried egg noodles with prawns and spring rolls. The food was excellent. Our entire group enjoyed the meal.
They were very busy, so do anticipate a line, especially if going at peak dinner time. Our group of 6 was split up into groups of 3, but we still had a great time.
