New York City's dynamic culinary landscape is experiencing significant shifts as several establishments, including the East Village's Noona's Ice Cream, Uotora, and Kimika, have announced their permanent closure throughout March 2026.
Absolutely love this place — my favorite vegan grocery spot in NYC!
The selection is top-notch, the vibes are warm and welcoming, and the twins bring such great energy. It’s not just a store, it’s a community staple. Always stocked with the best finds and good people
The sandwiches here are impeccable. I highly recommend the Vegan Joe. Don’t skip the yummy cookies and pastries! There is also an excellent selection of beverages and groceries.

Amazing plant-based cafe! We stopped in to grab breakfast and were talking about how delicious our sandwiches were for the rest of the day. Highly recommend the Just Egg Tuscan and Burrito. They also stock a number of vegan grocery items, and fresh baked bread and pastries.

Service: My favorite human beings!! they are the absolute sweetest girls and greet everyone with warmth and love.
Groceries: First off, they are by far the cutest shop in town and have just about everything you can think of. Oragnic, plant based, healthy groceries.
Philosophy: They are not just 100% vegan, but they source all their supplies thoughtfully, supporting the environment, local business, and clean ingredients.
Side note:: ladies, if you're reading this, your customers and I thank you!! we are so lucky to have individuals like yourselves who put their heart into their day-to-day work, making our community much more wonderful. Thank you, and we love you!

Avoid this place of your are a local Latino . Owner watched me as if I was common thief while I was looking for deodorant. Shame shame :(
Update : Weak response from GreenPot: considering they completely avoided addressing , the topic of me being watched like a hawk. (While i was in the store) Trust me, no one’s trying to steal your over priced dusty deodorant.
PS : it’s 2026 , there NO such thing as reverse racism . As for the threatening tone of the TV video footage of using the “white”.
Prob why you’re going out of business . Amen to that .
