Customer Perception
Customer perception is mixed. Many praise the great vibes, rooftop ambiance, and music, making it a good spot for hanging out with friends or couples. However, some reviews mention a limited cocktail menu, average food and drinks, and negative experiences with staff, including requests for credit card deposits and perceived discriminatory entrance policies for tourists.
This place is unique. Two things happened to me that I have not experienced in any of the 35 countries in the world I have visited so far. Right upon ordering I have been asked to leave my credit card as a deposit. This really killed the vibes. Like why the huge mistrust? I presume they do it to foreigners only. I suggested to just pay immediately but this was not an option since they will have to pay the visa fees for each transaction. I felt extremely uncomfortable and uneasy knowing my credit card is somewhere behind the bar. Second unique experience: they served us tequila without salt 🧂 and lemon 🍋. Understandably, I was very annoyed and left less than 10% tip. The staff would refuse to give me my card back unless I tip them 10%. Absolutely outrageous. The atmosphere, guests and music are nice tho. The place was recommended by a local friend of mine. However the experiences described above made it a huge disappointment for us.
Unfriendly people at entrance. Especially if you are a tourist just wanting to enjoy the venue in Tel Aviv. Get a text confirmation by WhatsApp to be on guest list for my friend and I and secure our access in the club, despite that, the night we arrived at front door, they did not allow us to get in the club, supposing that they didn’t get any confirmation for my name on guest list whatsoever. We suspect they just wouldn’t let us get in because we are simply strangers. Sadly I won’t recommend the club and this poor management. My message is not frustrating because we were able to find other clubs in Tel Aviv where we had no problem getting in and having a good evening. Simply warn that Hive club should review its staff management and if you are a tourist, sadly poor chance of access to the club. Which is a bit discriminatory.
Wow one of my best experiences,I haven’ been in Israel for years and this place made me feel like home , what an amazing people, delicious food and good vibes! Thank you guys for an amazing night!
