We visited on a gorgeous summer evening and sat outside with a group of friends, a few cold drinks in hand, and the whole thing felt effortlessly perfect. What really made it special was that our dog was welcome to join us at the outdoor tables — such a thoughtful touch that’s still rare to find. It made for a completely relaxed, social evening with the whole crew (four-legged members included!).
Now, the food. Wow. The menu is a beautifully curated tour of Sri Lankan cuisine — perfectly sized to give you real choice without being overwhelming, and every dish delivers on flavour. The spice levels are wonderfully balanced, the textures are exciting, and it’s clear that everything is made with real care and quality ingredients. Don’t miss the Hoppers Experience — incredible value and a fantastic way to sample a little bit of everything.
Authentic, vibrant, dog-friendly, and utterly delicious. One of London’s best.
I was craving Sri Lankan and this absolutely hit the spot. Authentic flavours across the bored. The menu is large enough to give a mixed group of preferences good choice, but not so big that they can’t deliver everything well and in a timely manor.
Service took about 15-20 minutes from ordering during a busy Friday lunch period and the portion sizes were decent, one bowl of pilau rice, one dosa and two main dishes was more than enough for two people.
I would definitely go again and recommend to a friend

Special shoutout to Rima for the service, she was attentive and really made the experience smooth.
Also, thanks to Arjun for sorting out our booking for us beforehand. Made everything hassle-free from the start.
Would definitely be back.

Victoria was a fantastic host and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout our visit. The entire team deserves recognition — every member of staff delivered excellent service with professionalism and warmth, which really elevated the dining experience.
The food was outstanding, easily a 10/10. Each dish was beautifully presented, full of authentic flavors, and clearly prepared with great care and quality ingredients. From the first bite to the last, everything exceeded our expectations.
The atmosphere at Hoppers King’s Cross is vibrant and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The combination of amazing food, exceptional service, and a lively yet comfortable setting made our visit truly memorable.
We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. Superb experience all around 👌🏽

Worth trying but not sure if I’ll come back.
The service is good, food was fine but the point is the portion. 32 pounds just for a small dish of lamb chop (3chops), a bit overpriced.
Lassi is good. Fired broccoli is very heavy flavored and the steamed bream has a lot of small bones which is a bit risky to eat. Also, the environment is too noisy, to a degree that we feels dizzy:(
