I seach for places to dine near my hotel and this was the nearest and easy to locate. The moment I entered the shop I was greeted with enthusiasm. This is my first meal upon arrival from a long trip from the Philippines. The food didn’t disappoint I had a different experience with the ramen it has a different kick not sure if its the ginger like ingredient with a lil sweetness in every bite. Pasta was cooked right as requested. Mark was spot on in his customer service skills. From the moment I stepped in the store, his warm greetings, taking my order and had a lil chit chat which warms up my feeling being a first timer in this city. He also asked feedback regarding the food and service. I highly recommend this place not just because of its proximity and food but more importantly the level of customer service. I worked in customer service industry in the past and now in quality and control so pretty much I can easily spot if something is said and done out of compliance like a tick box. I had a great experience engaging with Mark.

This was unbelievable! I tried a few things - Chicken Katsu Curry, Tonkotsu Ramen, Chicken Gyoza, Pork Belly Bao. Well I’ve never cleared a plate of chicken katsu before but this was next level. I have tried Coco Ichibanya which doesn’t really come close to Shoryu. Everything I tried here was so incredibly flavorful, affordable and I’ve never been blown away by Japanese food before until now. Will definitely come back. I really liked the music they played as well. Absolutely loved the vibe too. Perfect restaurant and it’s rare I say that.

Shoryu Ramen Soho is an absolute gem! The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere and plenty of tables, making it perfect whether you’re dining solo or with friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and our order arrived in no time. I tried their signature tonkotsu ramen, and it was easily one of the best I’ve ever had—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, delicious ramen in a warm and inviting setting.

Had such an amazing experience at Shoryu Ramen! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and the staff were incredibly accommodating throughout our visit. I would like to send special thanks to Ian and Glenn for making us feel so well taken care of. The service was excellent, and everything felt smooth and genuinely friendly from start to finish.
The food was even better—the ramen today was especially delicious, honestly even better than the last time I visited, which I didn’t think was possible. Every bite felt extra satisfying this time around. This visit was truly exceptional, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!
