Nobu

Visited Nobu Scottsdale last week with a group of girlfriends and loved the experience. The Japanese Bloody Mary, Salmon Karashi Sumiso, and Honey Toast with Passion Fruit were all excellent. What stood out was the chef’s willingness to customize my friend’s lunch bento to suit her preferences. Great food, attentive service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.

Came for dinner and left with much admiration for the staff. We felt like we were well taken care, and everyone was very personable and thoughtful. We sat at the sushi bar and Casey killed it for us. Great suggestions, composure, and curation. Could not have been more pleased with the experience.

Brunch at Nobu Scottsdale on a Sunday, sitting outside, is exactly how you want to do it. The patio vibe is relaxed but still polished — perfect Arizona sunshine without feeling rushed. The steak and eggs were spot on: perfectly cooked steak, rich yolk, and that subtle Nobu edge that makes it feel elevated rather than heavy. The chicken and waffles hit the sweet-savory balance — crisp, juicy chicken with just enough sweetness to keep it interesting without going overboard. And the banana French toast? Easily the standout if you like a sweeter brunch finish — soft, flavorful, and indulgent without being cloying. Service was sharp and attentive without hovering. Food came out on time, drinks stayed filled, and the whole experience felt seamless. Bottom line: great service, genuinely tasty food, and a patio brunch worth repeating.

Although the premium is (very) high, I still recommend this place because: 1. Food quality met my expectation; 2. Service was professional. There is is another thing I need to mention. Currently, tip culture in the US is out of control. A lot of restaurant set tips like 22%, 25%, 28% and 30%. This kind of setting is really upset me because this means the restaurant tries to milk customers. However, I found Nobu's setting was 18%, 20%, and 22%. Although it was still high, this setting is relatively reasonable. It indicates this restaurant still consider the customer's feeling. This is another reason I recommend this place.

Nobu was great. We did the experience! The fish was all amazing. Melt in your mouth and truly an experience! The steak was pretty tough and not edible though. Really strange. The service was a little tough for getting drinks it was kind of a long wait. Didn't love the 2 top table next to a wall. Plus the table next to us the people were fighting. Not the restaurant fault but when you are spending that kind of money, not great atmosphere.
