Opened in 1999, Onami stands as one of Israel's most established Japanese restaurants, with two popular branches in Tel Aviv, including one located within the Hilton Hotel.
Onami in Tel Aviv-Yafo is a popular spot for sushi and cocktail lovers, offering a sophisticated menu for those seeking a modern Japanese dining experience.
We had dinner at Onami on a Tuesday night.
The menu is vastly diverse, spanning many types of Asian dishes.
despite a slight discrepancy between the description of some dishes on the menu and the actual plating, we found the food delicious.
The staff was very kind and the general atmosphere was very romantic
Had the best time at Onami restaurant!
I came alone, to celebrate my birthday.. it’s been an ongoing pleasure!
Amir built me a menu of his choice, and he did not disappoint.
Had oysters, in various ways.. had all kind of special dishes and a beautiful Chablis wine… one of the best experiences! Would definitely recommend this beautiful fine restaurant!

Absolutely one of the best Japanese meals I’ve eaten in Israel.
One of very few restaurants that is absolutely worth its price.
We were a group of 4 people and we ordered LOTS of food to share (16 dishes!) and came out with a bit less than 200₪ per person. Everything was delicious! Most memorable were: the butter seafood dish, Tofu Agadashi, and the special Inari sushi.
The service was fantastic and the waitress gave us out of this world recommendations.
I will definitely come back for more one day.

This place used to be much better; Very small portions. Desserts are mediocre at best. The only somewhat good food is the starters. If you’re looking for a place to fill up, this is not for you.

Stumbled into this place on new years eve and were lucky to get seats at the bar. Everything turned out to be really fine, the food, the drinks, the service (thank you Michael) and the atmosphere. Will be back for sure.
