Selas

We went to Selas for my partner’s 35th bday. Since Japan is not open to travel yet, I had to bring it to him instead :) Excellent in so many levels, especially food-wise. Nice and intimate atmosphere. Try to sit on the bar, service was extraordinary! What are you waiting for?Book already!

I recently dined at Selas, known for its focus on fish and sushi. The ambiance was upscale and the menu had a variety of offerings, including some beef selections. While the experience was unique and the presentation impeccable, the flavors weren't quite to my personal taste. I can see the appeal for those who have a palate for such dishes, and I appreciate the chef's expertise in crafting the menu.

Raw fish lovers this is your place! Fresh and tasty fishes especially red tuna. The story is that the chef is fishing his own products. This is a very unique concept! The dishes looked fabulous and very artistic. Also prices are not too expensive for a chef restaurant comparing to other Tel Aviv’s restaurants. I recommend ordering the tasting meal where every dish is a surprise. Great food! Great vibe! compliments to the chef!

Nicely designed restaurant. Great vibe and service. The food is very original and tastes great, though the portions are small. The cocktails offered in the menu are good as well. For first timers I recommend the tasting menu, but not necessarily the premium one, since the difference between the regular and the premium are two small meat portions.

I can certainly add Selas to my top 3 sushi places across the globe, but it's much more than that. Great service, lovely atmosphere, very fresh anf special fishes in different dishes, good wine selection and great Sake
