I don’t leave reviews but this place was so FANTASTIC I had to! Everything from the ambience, design, staff, and of-course the food, was great! Beautiful decor inside that’s spacious enough for you to dine and feel like you’re in your own space while still being part of a nice atmosphere. They had a good mix of music playing that everyone was having fun too yet it was quiet enough to still enjoy the space, they even had Pokémon silently playing on the tvs. We got the “mul-hul” donburi bowl, it’s quite the spectacle! It would be good for small groups. It was very yummy, the sauce is really interesting, almost like a slightly spicy watermelon margarita. The food is eclectic yet authentic and offers a nice touchstone for those who want to enjoy a delicious meal from places they’ve been before like LA. The artistry of the food on the plates is top notch! We got the lollipop roll which was my favorite, as well as a fresh surf and turf roll which is very flavorful and unique. We enjoyed the kindness and conversation with the staff and had a wonderful time. We got nice starters that came with the meal, like kimchi cucumbers and sweet bbq chicken, they even gave us a sparkling plum digestive drink at the end of the meal. We are glad we happened to find it and will be coming back again! Definitely a must try!
I have been a loyal customer for years, and when I heard that the beloved establishment was getting a new owner, I was both nervous and hopeful. However, when I discovered that the new owner was none other than the talented Joyce, the mastermind behind the renowned Kotu Korean BBQ, my excitement soared. The food at this place is simply incredible, and the consistency of the dishes is what keeps me coming back time and time again. I can always count on a delicious meal here.
As someone who loves Japanese and Korean food, this restaurant was made for me! Their staff was friendly offering recommendations, refills, and pickled side dishes. The food was SO GOOD. Sushi was fresh and so so tasty, and their japchae was perfect. The atmosphere was comforting yet elevated. We are already planning our next visit!!
Amazing! Must try!
The place was busy so we sat at the bar
The sushi is really fresh and the Korean food selection is on point.
It's the best of both worlds. Everything we tried we liked.
Will be back.
