Such an amazing Omakase experience! We went there for one of our honeymoon dinners and it was unbelievable. The chef was absolutely incredible. Each course got better and better, you can tell they really care about the sushi. One of the best bites I ever had was their fatty tuna with caviar! The wine pairings and selection were fantastic too.

Everything about my dining experience at Sushi Masashi was impeccable. Service was phenomenal and staff were extremely attentive. For instance, my friend is left-handed and I noticed after the first course, the chef moved his ginger and chopsticks to the other side of the table for his convenience. Very keen eye! Ambience was intimate, facing two chefs, one being chef Masashi and the other being one of his apprentices I believe. The chefs are very engaging and do a great job describing each course. Every piece of sushi goes through Masashi’s hands. The food was ethereal. Goosebumps with every course. Everything was so meticulously prepared and presented. No course felt odd, they were all cohesive. Definitely do yourself a favour and dine at this fine establishment! One of my top dining experiences ever.

Sushi Masashi is an incredible Michelin starred omakase experience in Tokyo and easily one of my favorites. I had the pleasure of being served personally by Chef Masashi Yamaguchi, which made the experience even more special. Sitting at the counter and watching his precision and craftsmanship throughout the meal was incredible. The quality of the fish was exceptional, but the tuna was especially memorable. The progression through the different cuts was beautiful, and the balance between the fish, vinegared rice, temperature, and seasoning showed so much attention to detail. I also loved the creative dishes served alongside the traditional nigiri, which made the entire omakase feel thoughtful from beginning to end. Having eaten omakase throughout Japan, I really appreciate experiences where exceptional ingredients, technique, and interaction with the chef all come together. Sushi Masashi absolutely delivered. A truly memorable Tokyo sushi experience and one I would definitely recommend to anyone who appreciates traditional Japanese sushi and exceptional craftsmanship.

I had lunch here and I loved it! The sushi and fish was incredible and I enjoyed watching Chef Masashi-san and his other chefs/staff cut the fish, grate the wasabi, and making the sushi. Each sushi and dish was remarkable and the attention to detail was immaculate. The place was quiet and serene and Chef Masashi-san didn't speak that much at my lunch but I noticed he had this quiet cool confident demeanor and he was friendly to all the guests. Either he or the other chef/staff would explain the dish to us and the staff were attentive and friendly too. It is close to the metro station and it could be hard to find. I accidentally went to the wrong building at first as I was met with a dental office and remember it's on the 7th floor. Once you reach the restaurant you'll know right away you're at the right place with it's beautiful decor and attentive staff. Overall this might be the best sushi I've had and definitely would love come back another time!

One of the best omakase experiences I’ve ever had—if not the best. Absolutely everything about this place exceeded my expectations. From the food to the service and attention to detail, every aspect was exceptional. I only hope I’ll have the chance to come back someday!
