🥩🔥 Triger – Meat & Wine, Tel Aviv 🔥🥩
If you love meat — not just eat it, but understand it — Triger is your place. We were lucky to get a reservation for a family night (me, my father, and my brothers), and it turned into one of those unforgettable meals where everyone just goes quiet after the first bite.
We started with warm bread, Butcher’s butter, and spicy pepper — simple and perfect. Then came the Air Dry Tri-Tip, thinly sliced with wild mustard — absolute magic. The short ribs, cooked all night, basically fell apart if you looked at them too hard. And then... the big one — Dry Aged Prime Rib on the bone. A masterpiece. Juicy, smoky, crispy fat — pure happiness.
Cocktails? The Old Fashioned with butcher’s butter & honey, and the Triger Sour — both unreal. Service was sharp and friendly, like they actually care that you enjoy it.
We came hungry and left in slow motion. Best kosher steak I’ve ever had — better meat, better service, better vibe. Every time I’m back in Tel Aviv, I come back here. Still dreaming about that rib on the bone
טעים בקטע היסטרי!
By far the best quality steak I’ve had in central Israel!
Although the portions are not large, they are extremely flavorful and thoughtfully cooked. This of course also means you can try a larger variety of their excellent cuts (the Denver steak and prime rib stood out above all in my opinion).
The appetizers are excellent, the wine menu is large and accommodating, and our server was extremely friendly.
A wonderful place that serves great meat and food.
Altough, it has its flaws.
The food was amazing, the smaller cuts give out great variety and interest, and are not so common around most steakhouses.
So highly recommend getting them.
For appetizers I would recommend avoiding the pastrami, it's just small and wasteful.
Take two of the butter, which is to die for, or the beef tartar which was perfect.
The main flaw of the restaurant falls in the design and space.
Its cramped, very noisy, music around the bar was loud, and just didn't give the option to have a good time with your company.
But I understand the limits of the space. Maybe need to space it out a bit.
Service was kind, but a bit on the slow side.
All in all, recommend it for a quick bite.
Food and atmosphere are very good as well as the service. But entrance course portions are too small, so the dishes around the meat like salad, chips and a potato puree. We have ordered the first court dishes (all menu), the short ribs and New York steak with puree, chips and salad (this one is very tasty) and dessert -all menu. Everything was tasty , good food. I preferred the New York steak, others preferred the short ribs. Pay attention to the small size of escort dishes.
The Idea to use small concave plates for the first course and for the main course (when you order central table portions) is not convenient even disturbing.
How much does it cost? 250 sh. per person with no vine was ordered
Update 2025 - This visit was just okay and not as good as our first time.
The starters and desserts were great, especially the slow-cooked pulled beef, but the main steaks were just disappointing — simple and not as special as you’d expect from a place like this at this price point.
The service was still friendly but overdoing it a bit and the seating is still crowded and without enough space.
Overall, not worth returning for us.
From 2023 - Bottom line food wise. This is probably one of the best restaurants I ate in in Tel Aviv, especially narrowing down to meat dishes.
The service was incredible too.
I would have given it five stars for sure if it wasn’t for the light porn magazines in the bathroom which personally I found very offensive (especially since several kids were eating at the restaurant when we arrived), but it seemed like the manager at the time didn’t quite agree with me (although he said that he’s gonna take care of it and take them out).
Getting back to the food, the burger was great and so was the sirloin steak.
Wine selection is extensive and expensive and the design was quite nice although it was a bit crowded on the inside, and we didn’t have a lot of space from the other guests.
I will probably be back at least once more, hopefully the magazines will be gone and I will give this place the 5 stars it should have.
