Super tasty!
Their ramen is incredibly rich and full-bodied, which I absolutely love! I personally always prefer thick, deeply flavored broths over lighter ones.
I go often and usually order the same thing because it’s — in my opinion — the best of the best: the Tantanmen ramen (an absolute must!) and the jackfruit bao (bloody amazing!). It never disappoints! 🫶
The mushroom ramen is also excellent, and I’ve tried most of their other starters as well — I really liked the kimchi croquetas and can’t wait to try their baozi (which, unfortunately, I’ve never seen on the menu when I’ve been).
It’s also a great place for people who aren’t necessarily vegetarian (like myself). All the meat-eaters I’ve brought along have loved it, as every bowl is packed with texture and flavor. And some have even said it was their favorite ramen (mine too!).
Can't say too much about the desserts, as I always prioritize having a starter, but you can really tell that Mike and the rest of the team put a lot of passion into creating all their dishes.
Will be back! of course ❤️
Best vegan ramen I’ve tried so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The tantanmen ramen is creamy, nutty, and slightly spicy. The flavours are balanced and the presentation of the dish is beautiful. I’m also glad I added the yuba “chicken” skin! I also got the yuzu lemonade and it complemented the ramen.
Wonderful space with carefully curated furniture and sound proofing under the tables. I would recommend getting a recommendation as the place was busy!!!! Wonderful staff and service.
Absolutely loved this place! The tantanmen ramen was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor with just the right amount of spice. The bao was soft, fresh, and incredibly delicious. Everything tasted authentic and perfectly prepared. Great atmosphere and friendly service too — definitely coming back again on my next trip to Barcelona!
I went there twice in a week, that says everything! The Tantanmen Ramen is delicious, stunning and frankly perfect 😋 Even thinking about it makes me crave it again. Well done chef! Note that you need reservations for this place, so book first. Also they dont allow takeout so enjoy the ramen and other yummy food (we tried the Wontolotti and was tasty) at the restaurant. The Kido Ginjo and Nioda Shezenshu Ginjo sakes were also very good. The service is also very friendly and helfpul!
One of the few fully vegan restaurants in the area and we absolutely had to try it — especially craving something warm on a rainy day. We were seated right away and the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout.
Here's what we ordered:
Jackfruit Bao — One of the best vegan baos I've ever had. The jackfruit was perfectly prepared and beautifully sautéed. A stunning start.
Kimchi Croquette — Perfectly fried with a filling that was just superb.
Katsu Seitan — My personal favorite of the night. Seitan is my go-to vegan substitute and they absolutely nailed the texture and flavor. The sauces alongside it were the perfect pairing.
Gyoza — Delicious and crispy. Exactly what you want from a gyoza. No complaints.
Tantanmen Ramen — This might be one of the best ramens I've ever had — and after tasting it, I completely understand why it's the chef's favorite. The broth was extraordinarily rich and creamy, and every single ingredient was well prepared and paired beautifully together. Truly an exceptional dish.
Creamy Mushroom Ramen — The sautéed mushrooms were incredible and the broth was absolutely noteworthy. A beautifully presented dish that was every bit worth it.
Hands down the best meal we had in Barcelona. We walked away more than satisfied. This is a must-visit for any vegan food lover — and honestly, for everyone else too.
