Every time I come back to Melbourne, I have to come here. It’s become part of my routine, no trip feels complete without this pizza.
I always go back to their salami and mushroom. It’s my favourite. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the toppings. Everything is done so well.
The base is what makes it special, crunchy on the outside, bouncy in the middle, with that perfect char that gives it real flavour. It’s proper Italian-style pizza, simple and done right.
The service, the atmosphere, and the food are all excellent. Everything feels effortless, and the pizzas come out quickly, so you’re never waiting long.
When I’m craving a good pizza, I don’t need to travel all the way to Italy. I just come here.
I did the gnocchi master-class today. It was really great. I was the only person who went alone as it was all couples but the staff were all so friendly I didn't feel any anxiety like I usually do. It was so good to see what the texture should be like and get to ask questions I've wondered about because you can only learn so much on you tube and withso manydifferentopinions out there. Even though I've made gnocchi so many times before it's always been hit or miss, mostly miss so I hadn't tried in a while. Pity the motor racing was on or I may have been able to get hubby to come with me. We took home what we each made and were served gluten free gnocchi for lunch with a choice of wine or soft drinks. My husband loved the batch i made. The goodie bag we got had everything for us to make a batch at home all weighed out. Im going to make it tomorrow while it's fresh in my mind. Hubby said it will go great with the ribs eye steaks we're going to sous vide then sear on the BBQ so im guessing the salad i was planning is just for me. I would definitely recommend doing a course there and the blackboard menu looked really good.
Fantastic pizza and friendly efficient service. We dined on a Saturday and the restaurant had good energy. It wasn't overly loud so you could still have a conversation even though every table was taken. When the pizzas came out I could see why. Amazing Neapolitan style pizza with a really tasty dough. The toppings are delicious and well balanced too. Good selection of drinks too. Will definitely come again.
i always have pizza for my birthday. and this year i chose this place, so happy! not gonna lie, i thought the best australian pizza was gonna by a gimmick, but the chefs slapped me in the face with their beautiful artistry and amazing pizza. oh the gnocchi and pasta were good to. cherry on top: fire tiramisu. 10/10, maybe i should come here again for my next birthday😂

The porcini pasta is the absolute star in this meal.
It got such a strong flavour that I question myself if the pasta I ever ate should even be called pasta. Must try if you visit.
