An exclusive, five-story luxury members' club in Tel Aviv, active in 1984. It was a magnet for Israel's elite, a hub for gossip, and considered the birthplace of the 'capital-government' nexus. It was mysteriously burned down exactly 100 days after its opening.
We went out with friends and chose the tasting menu and loved every moment of it. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with great care. The quality of the ingredients really stood out. It was a special culinary experience, and we will definitely return! Must visit place in Tel Aviv if you are looking for exclusive culinary experience 🤗
The dishes were good overall, and the ingredients were clearly high quality. We ordered the tasting menu, but it had several issues. The presentation was inconsistent: some dishes included wasabi paste, while others had a wasabi-flavored paste on the side. A few dishes were deep-fried and had a noticeable amount of lingering oil. Many of the dishes were finished with a mayo-based sauce that overpowered the fish, and the steak was served cold.
Service was inconsistent as well. Sometimes our water was refilled, sometimes not. We were served by four different waiters throughout the meal, and the pacing felt rushed. The music was loud enough that it was hard to hear the explanations of the dishes. On the positive side, the cocktails were very good.
Overall, the tasting menu felt like an afterthought- more like a selection of dishes taken from the regular menu rather than a cohesive experience. If you visit, I’d recommend ordering from the menu instead. Despite the good ingredients and solid food, at a price point of 600 NIS, the experience was disappointing.

Delicious and innovative food and really good service, a is definitely one of the top restaurants in Israel right now. It's not comfort food and you shouldn't expect big plates, but the food is delicate and accurate, and is prrpared using high quality, sometimes unique ingredients.
The fish skewer and tempura dishes were extremely tasty and the steaks that we had were one of the best we had in Israel.
a is a place worth visiting and a trip worth taking, I would definitely come back.

I have never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful treatment in a restaurant before.
We arrived late because it took us an hour just to find the place. When we finally got there around 10:00 PM, the manager told us we couldn't order food because the kitchen closes at 10:30 PM (something they never mentioned beforehand) and that we could only order drinks.
From that point on, it was a complete disaster:
The Waiter: It took the waiter 20 minutes just to come to our table so we could order. When we wanted to order a bottle of wine, he only remembered to put it in ice half an hour after we ordered it. We constantly had to beg for any basic service.
Unfair Treatment: After we finally managed to place an order, they came back and told us the kitchen couldn't make our food. Meanwhile, people at the tables right next to us—who had placed their orders after us—were served fresh food as late as 10:45 PM!
Awful Management: When I confronted the manager (Menahelet) about this clear double standard, she tried to make excuses, claiming the other tables had ordered long before. When I told her that wasn't true because I saw them order right after us, she just said, "Well, you arrived late." Even if we were late, the logic made absolutely no sense and the attitude was incredibly dismissive.
Hygiene & Atmosphere: To make matters worse, they didn't even bother to clean the table where we were sitting.
It felt like every other table was getting premium service while we were being punished and ignored. The service was disgraceful, and the manager’s attitude was even worse. Save your money and go somewhere where customers are actually treated with respect.
Ruined our Night! Never coming back!

We had a wonderful time! The waitstaff suggested a personalized "fixed menu" and it was simply exquisite. Everything was delicious, even exciting, and the staff was attentive, friendly, and polite. Even with wine and a dessert, our bill (for two) was under 1000 NIS and it was worth every prutah. One of the two best meals of my life.
