Very good food, attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere. However, the overall experience felt overly commercial and disappointing. In our view, the restaurant is overrated and does not justify its premium pricing. From the outset, the welcome felt somewhat impersonal. Following the staff's recommendation, we allowed them to choose the dishes for us. Unfortunately, we left with the impression that increasing the bill was prioritized over creating a balanced dining experience. The cost ended up being roughly 50% higher than the tasting menu which they refused to offer because we were 3 and not 2 or 4 ..., and an excessive number of dishes were served over just an hour and a half, making the evening feel rushed rather than enjoyable. While the staff remained courteous throughout, the overall impression was that "fat & rushed" meal & bill was prioritized over the guest experience. This was our second visit to 'a', and unfortunately, it will also be our last, for what they offer we had way better experiences in Tel Aviv.
