I treated my parents to the Traditional Afternoon tea at Claridge’s for their 50th anniversary. It was truly amazing.
The service from the minute we arrived was so attentive and welcoming. They took our coats and our bags, then sat us down.
Arina was our server. She explained the menu very well and asked us if we would like additional sandwiches, scones or cakes throughout our time there. She recommended teas. My parents had the Rare Chai and I had the Jasmine tea and the Cornish Earl Grey. We are all vegetarian and she offered diabetic pastries for my Mum.
She also packed up the pastries and scones for us to take home with us. She also brought a strawberry cheesecake on a plate with Happy Anniversary written on it.
I’d highly recommend visiting Claridge’s for afternoon tea. It is a beautiful place to mark an occasion and my parents and I loved every minute of it.
Thank you to all of the staff that made the experience so memorable.
Be sure to have a look at the archive cabinet if the history of Claridge’s interests you.
Sandwiches were bland, last time was much better so I was very disappointed, service was good, coffee, scones and patisserie were good. The waitress gave me more sandwiches, scones and patisserie to take back which was very nice of her.
We had a delightful afternoon tea experience at Claridge’s. Every item was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. While the service was a bit more exuberant than what we typically expect from Claridge’s, it surprisingly complemented our table's atmosphere that afternoon. We truly enjoyed our time there.
We celebrated our anniversary with an early dinner, and it was incredible. We had the Lobster Wellington, and it was absolutely spectacular. The service was impeccable—everyone took such great care of us, making the evening even more memorable

Excellent food and service. There was a screaming kid in the restaurant so we had to change tables....it was unpleasant for a lot of people. I would say to implement a no kids policy at this high level of establishment . I give them five stars for all the hard work of everyone!
