Mussels sitting on a square of focaccia bread and drenched in this spicy, oily, garlicky paprika sauce. It was sooo good, but as you can see the only downside was it was quite greasy. Still enjoyed it a lot tho The Spanakopita was the highlight for me. Crispy filo pastry on the outside with a soft spinach-feta filling inside. Really good balance of textures 😋 Next was the Pork Jowl. The meat was super tender with this thick crispy crackling on top. It also came with membrillo (quince paste) and onion compote so you get that sweet + savory combo in one bite Then the Truffle Vol au Vent with Peppercorn Sauce. It’s basically crispy puff pastry filled with creamy mushroom and truffle sauce. First bite i was like 🤩🤩🤩 but after a few bites it started to feel really heavy. Almost like too many rich ingredients all together 😞 We also had the Coq au Vin, their reworked version of the classic French dish. It also came with crispy bread topped with chicken liver parfait. Very rich For dessert we got the Portokalopita, a Greek orange cake soaked in syrup with orange and olive oil. It was my first time trying Portokalopita. It’s actually not like a normal cake bcs apparently they use dried filo pastry instead of flour, so the texture is a bit different from the usual sponge cake. I really enjoyed it ★ Final rating: 4.3/5 ★ I like restaurants that get creative but still keep the authentic flavors. Everything tasted good, but most dishes were quite rich so it got a bit heavy by the end. Still a really nice meal tho

What a delightful place, truly captures the particular vibe of this part of London. Tucked into an ex-bank building, the interiors is spacious but inviting with a miscellaneous of little/ bigger tables and still seats. The atmosphere is buzzing with so many different people having a good time. Servers are so very attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Loved the cocktail selection and the appetisers were my favourite along with a very special house bread and oil.

I’ve been seeing this place a lot on instagram and been meaning to go there for a while. It did not disappoint - everything we had was delicious! The ambiance is warm and relaxed, although it can be a bit loud - so maybe not ideal to bring your parents or have a deep conversation. Nevertheless, a must try in the area!

I mean, I could go on and describe every single dish, but it still wouldn’t do justice to how delicious everything we tried was😁 Some places just make it obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the menu. The kind of thought that comes from people who really know and love great food. Unforgettable focaccia. Pork jowl, panzanella, potatoes👌🏻

A refreshing and beautifully executed lunch. I had the set menu, which changes every few days. Celia was incredibly warm and welcoming, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. The seaweed focaccia with olive oil, salt, and seaweed was amazing, and the salad was a standout, with the acidity from the tomatoes balancing everything perfectly. Dunking the bread into the sauce at the end was heavenly. The lobster bisque with rice was decent, not the highlight, but still enjoyable. The head chef was also very friendly, and the ambience felt warm and inviting. Quick note to self, if you are even slightly clumsy, do not wear white. I somehow left looking like I had just discovered food for the first time and lost all motor skills. Highly recommended, I would definitely come back.
