Chanced upon Murano and Angela Hartnett after binge watching the Waitrose podcast. Food and service did not disappoint. Restaurant felt casual yet refined at the same time, and service was prompt from start to finish. We particularly enjoyed the turbot and lobster tortelloni dish. Love the use of seasonal peas and asparagus throughout most of our courses. The only feedback I would give is on the lemon tart - we think it could use a scoop of ice cream to complete the dish. Otherwise this was a satisfying lunch on a blistering hot Saturday!
Superb experience from start to finish. We sat outside on the terrace which was lovely. The waiters were really friendly, attentive and happy to recommend food/drink to us. Highlights were the ragù, the risotto (sooo cheesy), the iberico pork and the lemon tart. We appreciated the free bread top-ups too! Thoroughly recommend a visit to this restaurant for some delicious, seasonal Italian food!
An unforgettable experience from start to finish! We each had four dishes and followed the staff’s recommendations for both sparkling and red wine — both were excellent. The overall experience was truly unforgettable! The food was seriously delicious, the layers of flavours were very enjoyable. The waiters were also amazing, very knowledgeable about the food and attentive throughout the whole meal. We could not have asked for a better way to celebrate our anniversary.
We visited Murano yesterday for a year-end celebration with a group of six and had an outstanding experience.
The quality of the food is exceptional for a one-star Michelin restaurant – genuinely among the best one-star meals I have had, certainly in London and arguably in Europe. The cooking was precise, confident and deeply satisfying throughout.
The service deserves special mention: friendly, engaging and highly attentive without ever feeling intrusive. The sommelier curated a bespoke wine journey for our table, which was thoughtful, well-paced and excellent value for money – as were both the food and the wines overall.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and relaxed, elegant but not stiff. It is not overly noisy and simply a very pleasant place to spend an evening.
Overall, an extremely enjoyable experience from start to finish. We left very happy and would absolutely return.
