Noble Rot Lamb'S Conduit Street

Finely selected seasonal dishes to entertain any palates. The Extensive wine list make it a wonderful experience with somms that know their wines. It’s a great place to grab a drink and have dinner with friends.

Sit outside on a nice day for lunch. The street is calm and charming, and the lunch set menu is very reasonably priced! For £24, you get a starter and main. We got potatoes and mackerel. We added a few croquettes and the raw scallop. The scallop was my favorite. The peanut sauce balanced the fishy scallop taste with a slightly sweet tang. I also had a glass of wine from the Loire valley that paired with the food perfectly. Service was quick and our waitress was very polite! Never been disappointed with Noble Rot. It's a classic!

The food was genuinely some of the best I’ve had. Every dish we tried was outstanding: creative, delicious, beautifully executed, and memorable. We shared several starters and small plates, and I would happily eat every single dish again. However, the service brought the experience down to three stars. At this price point and level, everything needs to match the quality of the food. Our wine was placed on the table without a cooler, which I had to request. Our glasses were never refilled, we were never asked how the food was, whether we needed anything, or whether everything was okay. We had to serve ourselves throughout the evening, ask for more bread, and wait a long time for a second bottle of wine. There were also moments that felt quite surprising for a restaurant of this calibre. Plates were cleared before we were finished or left whilst adding more dishes, and when our second bottle arrived, I saw the waitress open it, taste it herself (it wasnt a cork), and then pour our glasses without asking us, which I did not find acceptable. I did not feel very welcome by the staff which is a real shame. The food was incredible and I’ll be thinking about it for a long time, but the lack of attentive service really tainted the evening. For the prices being charged, the overall experience should feel special. As it stands, I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing clients here or choosing it for a special occasion.

Got the set lunch menu, and none of the dishes disappointed. The wine pairing suggestions also greatly matched the dishes.
