We had a wonderful experience at Onigiriya. We ordered the salmon onigiri and miso soup, and both were excellent. The onigiri was fresh, perfectly prepared, with delicious salmon filling and. The miso soup was rich and full of flavor.
The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. You can really tell that they care about quality and attention to detail.
As someone who needs gluten-free options, I especially appreciated how celiac-friendly the restaurant is. It’s not always easy to find safe and tasty Japanese food, and Onigiriya does a great job accommodating gluten-free diners.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, high-quality Japanese food in Tel Aviv. We’ll definitely be back! 🍙🍜⭐
Absolutely amazing place! As a celiac - this is heaven to have such a yummy 100% gluten free food. Run by the sweetest family!! If I could I would eat there every day 3 times a day :) the Agada Shitake - is the must!
Amazing little place! Run by a super friendly family who make authentic and delicious Japanese food. Their onigiri is better than what you would typically get in Japan, and their other dishes are even better than that. Highly recommended!
A family-run business
Food:
I used to order only Onigiris. The umubeshi one is my fav!
But now I really like to order other dishes as well, since they are so good.
The food is made with love, you can feel it. It's like your mom/dad made you this meal.
Every now and then they also serve a fresh desserts, like doriaki or dango.
Atmosphere:
It's a small place, like you'd find in Japan.
Service :
As soon as you entered you'd feel welcome! There might not be too much space, but you can take your time, ask questions about the dishes, everyone here are so nice.
