This has to be one of my top spots on Tel Aviv. It feels intimate with a really joyous courtyard as the main dining area. This is really next level fare…the fish dishes are extraordinary. The presentations are world class and the cocktail game is top notch as well. The wines tend towards natural, which isn’t really my game, but it seems very on brand for this spot. Honestly, among the best in TA. I wasn’t there for one…but seems like a perfect date spot.

It has really solid food with a lot of creative items. The biggest problem was that the portions were really, really small. Particular highlights were the Lima being Cacio e Pepe and the mushroom hummus. 4.5 stars from me My mother in law, on the other hand, said the Caesar salad tastes like it has sand. The sweet potatoe was undercooked. And the Lima beans were great but there were only 8 of them. “Do not come hungry” everything too salty. The alcohol came in thimbles. 3 stars from her. But you know how mother in laws can be… Ambiance was fun. Great at night. Attached to a hotel. Attentive service and food came quick. They take the food out as they come. The alcohol was really really strange. Not kid or dog friendly.

From one New Yorker to another — this place? Fuhgeddaboudit. The best freakin’ fish I ever wrapped my lips around. Chef’s a magician — guy turns seafood into art. Dessert? Forget about my diet, I’m ordering two. Matan runs the joint like he’s serving at his mama’s Friday night table — service so good I thought I was adopted halfway through dinner. Get the full snapper, crack open a bottle of Feldstein, and pretend you’re celebrating a big score. Five stars, no questions.

An amazing fish restaurant, that just happens to be Kosher as well. I've had here one of the best dinners I've had in Tel Aviv for a very long time - all of the food was amazingly delicious, made with the freshest ingredients and with super high attention to details. I came with my husband and we sat on the bar, which is basically like a dinner & a show the way I see it - you can peek to the cold dishes in the making (inside the bar) and to the kitchen on the left (where they prepare the hot dishes), which is super intriguing on its own. Before even ordering, we received a complimentary brioche bun that was steaming hot & fluffy, served with butter & some pickled peppers. A pro tip - leave it for wiping the amazing sauces of the food you'll order later. We wanted to try as many dishes as possible so we skipped the bigger ones and focused on the entrees, starters and vegetable dishes. From the small courses menu we ordered the smoked trout bruschetta (served with creme fraiche and white horseradish) that was one of my favorite bites. From the cold fish section we ordered the red on red which is a blue fin tuna sashimi filled with a fresh salad and served on red orange aguachile. The sashimi melted in our mouths and had a perfect balance with the sauce and tart salad. From the vegetables section we went for the smoked caesar salad which was surprisingly the highlight of our dinner! By far the best caesar salad I've ever had in my life, due to the interesting combination of charred & fresh lettuce, with a perfectly creamy caesar sauce that wasn't too heavy or greasy. We also ordered the strawberries & root vegetables salad, and yet again, it was such a surprise to enjoy a salad this much! It was perfectly seasoned with balsamic sauce, the widest variety of root vegetables I ever saw in one plate and the freshest strawberries. Lastly, from the hot fish dishes section we ordered the kubbeh hamusta which was an interesting take on the original, but filled with minced white fish, pistachio & parsley. I'm not the biggest fan of hamusta in general, but my husband loved it. We also ordered the fish taco, which was basically a fried fish fillet, served inside a tortilla with pickled onion, green leaves, jalapeno aioli & fresh red grapefruit. This was another one of my favorite dishes - the tartness of the grapefruit perfectly complimented the greasiness of the fish (from its frying), the aioli gave a spicy kick to it all, and the fish was moist and tender. Even though we were already quite full at this point, we knew we couldn't skip dessert and we ordered the pistachio tiramisu which was surprisingly very light, with a fluffy cream and a deep coffee flavor. Throughout the entire dinner, the service was impeccable, very professional yet friendly & super kind. It's important to mention that the prices aren't cheap, but definitely worth it in my opinion, considering the entire experience from end to end). To conclude, we absolutely loved this place (10/10), and I just can't wait to come back and try some more of the dishes we haven't tried yet!!
