The Fun Garden - Guinguette is a family-friendly establishment in Tambon Ao Nang, primarily known as a kids' play area with both indoor and outdoor facilities, including a Montessori playground, trampolines, and climbing structures. It offers a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, described more like a home than a commercial play center, where parents can relax while children play. The concept is focused on play and relaxation rather than gourmet dining.
Customers praise it as a great place for kids to play, often quiet and uncrowded, with a warm and attentive owner and staff. The play areas are well-stocked and engaging for toddlers and children of all ages. Pricing for playtime (around 120 THB for unlimited play) is considered fair. While the food (e.g., Pad Thai, burgers, chicken nuggets, crepes) is generally deemed good for a kids' play area, it's not considered gourmet. Some outdoor play equipment might be a bit old, and the lack of Wi-Fi is noted as a negative. Traffic noise can occasionally be an issue.
The establishment charges approximately 120 THB per child for unlimited playtime. It's located in the Chong Phli area, where options for kids' activities are limited, making it a valuable local attraction. The term 'Guinguette' suggests a casual, open-air venue, often with entertainment, which aligns with its family-friendly, play-focused concept.
It is often quiet, suggesting it's generally not crowded. It might be more enjoyable for children when other kids are present, but for parents seeking a peaceful environment, its usual quietness is a plus. Calling ahead to confirm opening hours is advised.
